Wightlink travel discount for NHS appointments
Wightlink recognises that Islanders need to travel to the mainland from time to time to receive specialist NHS care or medical treatment. They offer a special 50% travel discount for residents crossing the Solent for NHS appointments (patient plus one other person) – whether they are travelling as foot passengers or in vehicles.
Bookings should be made in advance by calling 0333 999 7333, quoting:
‘Wightlink Healthcare Discount’
On the day of travel, patients will be required to show their NHS appointment card, letter or text message referring to their appointment to Wightlink staff when checking in.
